In keeping with the Administration's philosophy that state government should be open, accessible, and accountable to the citizens it serves, visitors to the department's Web site have easy access to a variety of information ranging from departmental budget and personnel staffing numbers to tax return and refund processing statistics.

Links below take visitors directly to the department’s budget and reported year-to-date expenditures. Personnel staffing numbers, updated monthly, are detailed by revenue division/office. ADOR performance reports, part of the Administration’s SMART Governing Plan, are compiled quarterly under the requirements of the Budget Management Act of 1976.  Refund processing statistics provide a summary of the current individual income tax processing season. The last link, entitled "Working Relationships," provides a statistical critique of recent sales and use tax audit experiences by Alabama taxpayers.
