Under the authority of Section 40-17-31, CODE OF ALABAMA 1975, Commissioner of Revenue H. E. Monroe, Jr., directed that the aviation tax rates effective September 1, 1998, will increase as follows:
| Jet or Turbine Fuel | - $.015 per gallon |
| Aviation Gasoline | - $.045 per gallon |
