Effective October 1, 2000, the Alabama Department of Revenue will begin utilizing the National Fuel Diversion Registry for the purpose of reporting diversions of the above-referenced products. The National Fuel Diversion Registry is set up to receive telephone calls twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week. The National Fuel Diversion Registry will receive the information regarding the diversion of the fuel and will issue a registration number that must be written on the shipping document.
