ETAPS Training Schedule

The Motor Vehicle Division has reserved the dates listed below to provide ETAPS training to designated agents. The two sessions are designed to last six (6) hours. Designated agents are required to attend both sessions to become certified for ETAPS. The Alabama Uniform Certificate of Title and Anti-theft Act and general titling procedures are addressed in the morning session and ETAPS user training is addressed in the afternoon session. In addition, training for manufactured home cancellations and insurance settlements for stolen unrecovered vehicles will be available after the ETAPS user training.

You must bring the following information to the training session:

  • Designated agent number (see further information to the right)
  • ETAPS Title Training Manual (click here to print)
  • Sales/Rental Tax Number
  • Financial institution account number
  • Financial institution routing number
  • Financial institution account type (checking/savings)
  • Account classification (commercial/consumer)

Designated Agent Numbers:

*You must have your 9-digit designated agent number in order to attend this class and get credit for attending mandatory designated agent training. Designated agent applications will not be processed on days when ETAPS training occurs.*

Please allow 3 to 5 business days to establish a designated agent account. A designated agent application package may be requested from the Title Section at titles@revenue.alabama.gov.

Registration will begin thirty (30) minutes prior to each training session.
