What should I do if I don't have an IRP E-File password or have forgotten or lost it?
If you have previously logged into the system and answered your secret question, you will be able to retrieve your password by selecting the Forgot Password link on the logon screen. Your IRP password will be the same as your IFTA password. You can request a password for IRP E-File by contacting the Department at (334) 242-2999 and a new password will be assigned to you. If you previously had a password and you obtain a new one, your old password will become invalid. You must have an IRP account in order to be assigned a password.

I cannot see or open a form (page).
The majority of our online forms are in a PDF format. This format allows these forms to be printed to match the paper forms. To view these forms, you will need Adobe Acrobat Reader 5.0 or higher. If you do not have Adobe Acrobat Reader, here's how
to download a free copy.

I cannot print.
These are the three most common reasons for not being able to print (listed in the most likely to least likely order):
- You need to have Adobe Acrobat Reader version 5.0 or higher. Click here for instructions on how to down load the latest version.
- You receive the message "File not found" when Adobe Acrobat is trying to open. Depending on your browser follow these instructions:
- Internet Explorer - Right click on the Internet Explorer icon on your desktop and select "Properties". Under the General tab there is a section called "Temporary Internet files" you can either select the "Settings" button and increase the "Amount of disk space to use", or select the "Delete Files" button and then select the check box to "delete all offline content" and click "OK".
- You get a blank page in Adobe Acrobat Reader or an error message saying the file does not start with %pdf. You have multiple versions of Adobe Acrobat Reader installed on your pc and the Adobe software cannot resolve which version of Adobe to use with dynamic pdf pages. If you must have multiple versions of Adobe Acrobat Reader, you must reinstall the latest version on top of the older versions.

What is my fleet # or supplement #?
You may obtain your fleet and/or supplement number one of three ways:
- From your billing invoice
- From your renewal application that was mailed to you.
- From the IRP inquiry button on the website. Once you are in the inquiry screen, select supplement to obtain the fleet number. From here you would select your current registration year record in order to obtain the supplement number.
