Who may purchase license plates in this category?  Only a veteran of the appropriate conflict, who is a resident of Alabama, may qualify and obtain a veteran commerative license plate.

The veteran must provide certification from the Department of Veteran Affairs.  In the case of a disability access plate, the “Application for Disability Access Parking Privileges” must be presented to the license plate issuing official.
