What type of vehicles may this plate be displayed upon?  Pickup trucks with a gross vehicle weight (GVW) of 10,001 to 12,000 pounds.

If a pickup truck (a truck with not more than two axles and a gross weight not exceeding 12,000 pounds) is used for personal or agricultural use and is not operated for commercial purposes, the (GVW) of the truck is determined without regard to the heaviest load to be carried including the heaviest load to be carried on any trailer used in combination with the truck.

Tow trucks are registered based on the GVW of the tow truck only, without regard to the GVW of any motor vehicle towed.

How are the net proceeds from the purchase of this plate distributed? Registration fees for trucks are distributed in accordance with the provisions of Sections 40-12-269 and 40-12-270.
