TO: ALL PERSONS, FIRMS, AND CORPORATIONS making sales at retail, and purchasing tangible personal property for use, storage, or other consumption in the Town of Ardmore, Alabama (Limestone County).

The governing body of the Town of Ardmore has adopted a resolution discontinuing the services rendered by the Alabama Department of Revenue in collecting the sales and use taxes for the town. This resolution was effective at 12:00 midnight December 31, 2000. Therefore, your last Town of Ardmore sales and use tax return to be filed with the Alabama Department of Revenue was for the month of December 2000. The return for January will be due on or before February 20, 2001.

Your Town of Ardmore sales and use taxes for January 2001 which are due on or before February 20, 2001, should be remitted to:

On or before February 20, 2001 the Town of Ardmore will provide you with new forms to be used in filing the town returns.
