The governing body of the Town of Cleveland has adopted a resolution discontinuing the services rendered by the Alabama Department of Revenue in collecting the sales and use taxes for the Town. This resolution was effective at 12:00 midnight May 31, 1999. Therefore, your last Town of Cleveland sales and use tax to be filed with the Alabama Department of Revenue was for the month of May 1999. The return for May was due in this office on or before June 20, 1999.
Effective with your sales and use taxes for June 1999 due on or before July 20, 1999, please remit said taxes to:
On or before July 20, 1999 the Town of Cleveland will provide you with new forms to be used in filing the town returns.
