The governing body of the City of Demopolis has adopted a resolution discontinuing the services rendered by the Alabama Department of Revenue in collecting the sales, use and rental taxes for the city. This resolution is effective at 12:00 midnight January 31, 2003. Therefore, your last City of Demopolis sales, use and/or rental tax returns filed with the Alabama Department of Revenue will be for the month of January 2003. The return for January 2003 is due on or before February 20, 2003.
Your City of Demopolis sales, use and rental taxes for February 2003 which are due on or before March 20, 2003, should be remitted to:
