Alabama's Electronic Tax Filing and Payment Program is a coordinated effort between private business and the Alabama Department of Revenue. The private companies, referred to as Electronic Return Originators or EROs, have been approved by the Alabama Department of Revenue to provide Internet-based electronic tax filing and payment services.
