The governing body of Fayette County has adopted Resolution No. 7102000-B discontinuing the services rendered by the Alabama Department of Revenue in collecting the sales and use taxes for the County. This resolution was effective at 12:00 midnight August 31, 2000. Therefore, your last Fayette County sales and use tax return filed with the Alabama Department of Revenue was for the month of August 2000.
Effective with your sales and use taxes for September 2000 please remit said taxes to:
