The governing body of the city of Florala has adopted a resolution discontinuing the services rendered by the Alabama Department of Revenue in collecting the sales, use, lodgings & rental taxes for the City. This resolution is effective at 12:00 midnight May 31, 1999. Therefore, your last City of Florala sales, use, lodgings & rental tax return to be filed with the Alabama Department of Revenue will be for the month of May 1999. The return for May will be due in this office on or before June 20, 1999.
Effective with your sales, use, lodgings & rental taxes for June 1999 due on or before July 20, 1999, please remit said taxes to:
On or before July 20, 1999 the city of Florala will provide you with new forms to be used in filing the city returns.
