The governing body of the Town of Franklin has adopted a resolution discontinuing the services rendered by the Alabama Department of Revenue in collecting the sales and use tax for the town. This resolution is effective at 12:00 midnight March 31, 2003. Therefore, your last Town of Franklin sales and use tax returns filed with the Alabama Department of Revenue will be for the month of March 2003. The return for March 2003 is due on or before April 20, 2003.

Your Town of Franklin sales and use taxes for April 2003 which are due on or before May 20, 2003, should be remitted to:
