The governing body of the City of Gadsden has adopted a resolution discontinuing the services rendered by the Alabama Department of Revenue in collecting the sales, use, and lodgings taxes for the City. This resolution was effective at 12:00 midnight October 31, 1999. Therefore, your last City of Gadsden sales, use, and lodgings tax return required to be filed with the Alabama Department of Revenue was for the month of October 1999.
Effective with your sales, use, and lodgings taxes for November 1999, please remit said taxes to:
