The governing body of the Town of Geraldine has adopted a resolution discontinuing the services rendered by the Alabama Department of Revenue in collecting the sales taxes for the town. This resolution will become effective at 12:00 midnight December 31, 2000. Therefore, your last Town of Geraldine sales tax return to be filed with the Alabama Department of Revenue will be for the month of December 2000 due on January 20, 2001.
Effective with your sales taxes for January 2001 please remit said taxes to:
On or before February 20, 2001 the Town of Geraldine will provide you with new forms to be used in filing the town returns.
