The governing body of Jackson County has adopted a resolution discontinuing the services rendered by the Alabama Department of Revenue in collecting the sales and use, rental/lease, and lodgings taxes for the County. This resolution was effective at 12:00 midnight March 31, 2001. Therefore, your last Jackson County sales and use, rental/lease, and lodgings tax return filed with the Alabama Department of Revenue is for the month of March 2001. The March return is due on April 20, 2001.
Effective with your sales and use, rental/lease, and lodgings taxes for April 2001 which is due on May 20, 2001 please remit said taxes to:
