The governing body of the Town of Lake View has adopted a resolution discontinuing the services rendered by the Alabama Department of Revenue in collecting the sales and use taxes for the town. This resolution is effective at 12:00 midnight July 31, 2003. Therefore, your last Town of Lake View sales and use tax returns filed with the Alabama Department of Revenue will be for the month of July 2003. The return for July 2003 is due on or before August 20, 2003.
Your Town of Lake View sales and use taxes for August 2003 which are due on or before September 20, 2003, should be remitted to:
