The governing body of Limestone County has adopted a resolution discontinuing the services rendered by the Alabama Department of Revenue in collecting the sales and use taxes for the county. This resolution is effective at 12:00 midnight May 31, 2001. Therefore, your last Limestone County sales and use tax payment filed with the Alabama Department of Revenue will be for the month of May 2001. The return for May 2001 is due on or before June 20, 2001.
Your Limestone County sales and use tax payment for June 2001 which is due on or before July 20, 2001, should be remitted to:
