Effective January 1, 2003.

The Town of Douglas levied a rental tax as shown below:

The Douglas rental ordinance also levies a rental tax on leasing or renting of tangible personal property outside the corporate limits of the city but within the police jurisdiction. The rates of rental tax in the police jurisdiction are one-half of those stated above.
