Effective October 1, 2010.

The City of Talladega has increased their rental tax and levied a rental and lodgings tax in their police jurisdiction as shown below:

If leasing or renting of tangible personal property is made outside the corporate limits of the city but within the police jurisdiction. The rates of rental tax in the police jurisdiction are one-half of those stated above.

If the renting or furnishing of rooms, lodgings or accommodations to transients are made outside the corporate limits of the city but within the police jurisdiction. The rates of lodgings tax in the police jurisdiction are one-half of those stated above.
