The governing body of the City of Opp has adopted a resolution discontinuing the services rendered by the Alabama Department of Revenue in collecting the sales and use, rental/lease, and lodgings taxes for the city. This resolution was effective at 12:00 midnight March 31, 2001. Therefore, your last City of Opp sales and use tax filed with the Alabama Department of Revenue was for the month of March 2001. The return for March was due on or before April 20, 2001.
Your City of Opp sales and use taxes, rental/lease, and lodgings for April 2001 which are due on or before May 20, 2001, should be remitted to:
