On March 25, 2004, the governing body of the Town of Owens Cross Roads adopted Ordinance No. 04-01 repealing the sales, use and rental taxes levied in the police jurisdiction of the town. This ordinance becomes effective May 1, 2004.
This ordinance in no way affects the sales, use or rental tax levied inside the corporate limits of the town. It only affects those who make sales at retail and purchase tangible personal property for use, storage or other consumption, or those who lease or rent tangible personal property outside the town limits of Owens Cross Roads but within the town’s police jurisdiction
