On February 10, 2003, the governing body of the Town of Pike Road adopted Ordinance No. 01-2003 levying a 3 percent lodgings tax on gross receipts from the renting or furnishing of rooms, lodgings, or accommodations to transients in the Town of Pike Road.
The effective date of the tax is April 1, 2003. Your first report will be for the month of April 2003 which is due on or before May 20, 2003.
You can now prepare, file and pay your state sales and use tax and local sales, use, lodgings, and rental taxes online for FREE! Simply go to our Web site at: www.ador.state.al.us/salestax/efiling.html, and follow the instructions. If you choose to file and pay electronically, the Town of Pike Road lodgings tax is included on the electronic local tax return. Simply enter the gross receipts and deductions, and all calculations will be done automatically for you. Otherwise, the Town of Pike Road lodgings tax must be remitted on your letter size Alabama Department of Revenue City and County Tax Return, and mailed to the address at the top of the return. If you have Town of Pike Road lodgings tax to remit and find no Pike Road entry in Column A, you should add Pike Road in that column, Tax Code 9753 in Column B and the tax type, LL, in Column C.
