The governing body of the Town of Sand Rock has adopted a resolution discontinuing the
services rendered by the Alabama Department of Revenue in collecting the sales and use taxes
for the Town. This resolution will become effective at 12:00 midnight August 31, 1998.
Therefore, your last Town of Sand Rock sales and use tax return to be filed with the Alabama
Department of Revenue will be for the month of August 1998. The return for August will be
due in this office on or before September 20, 1998.
Effective with your sales and use taxes for September 1998 due on or before October 20, 1998,
please remit said taxes to:

On or before October 20, 1998 the Town of Sand Rock will be providing you with new forms to
be used in filing the town returns directly with them.
