The governing body of the City of Selma has adopted a resolution discontinuing the services rendered by the Alabama Department of Revenue in collecting the sales and use, rental/lease, and lodgings taxes for the city. This resolution is effective at 12:00 midnight September 30, 2003. Therefore, your last City of Selma sales and use, rental/lease, and/or lodgings tax return filed with the Alabama Department of Revenue is for the month of September 2003. The September return is due on October 20, 2003.
Effective with your sales and use, rental/lease, and/or lodgings taxes for October 2003 which is due on November 20, 2003, please remit said taxes to:
