The governing body of the City of Tallassee/Tallassee East has adopted a resolution discontinuing the services rendered by the Alabama Department of Revenue in collecting the sales and use taxes for the city. This resolution is effective at 12:00 midnight October 31, 2003. Therefore, your last City of Tallassee/Tallassee East sales and use tax return filed with the Alabama Department of Revenue will be for the month of October 2003. The return for October 2003 is due on or before November 20, 2003.

Your City of Tallassee/Tallassee East sales and use taxes for November 2003 which are due on or before December 20, 2003, should be remitted to:
