DOWNLOADABLE TEXT FILE CONTAINING ALL CITY AND COUNTY TAX RATES
The Sales, Use & Business Tax Division is now making available a comma delimited text file (i.e. fields separated by commas), that contains local tax rate information for all Alabama cities and counties that levy a sales, use, lodgings or rental tax. (Includes both state administered, as well as non-state administered local taxes.) The text file should be compatible with practically any spreadsheet or database application, and the file will be updated on a monthly basis. A Help file is also provided and is intended to be used with the downloadable text file. Click here for the text file.
