The governing body of Walker County has adopted a resolution discontinuing the services rendered by the Alabama Department of Revenue in collecting the Walker County lodgings tax. The resolution becomes effective at 12:00 midnight February 28, 1998. Therefore, your last Walker County lodgings tax return to be filed with the Alabama Department of Revenue will be for the month of February 1998 which will be due in this office on or before March 20, 1998.
Your Walker County lodgings taxes for March 1998 due on or before April 20, 1998 should be remitted to:
