Reset Your Online Password

If you have forgotten your password, you can reset it yourself without having to contact the Alabama Department of Revenue.  Upon initial login, the system required you to “Create a User Profile” whereby you were required to provide a password, and select and answer two security questions to provide password hints.  The Security Questions and Answers are associated with your accounts to protect your security and privacy.  In the event you forget your password, we use your Security Answer to verify your identity.

Upon entering the wrong password, the site will display a link to the Password Hints.  Upon answering the hints correctly, you will be taken to the Main Menu of your online account.  You will need to select “Change Profile (Password)” from the Main Menu to change the password.  

Please note that this function is for User 001.  As before, any additional users must be reset by the 001 administrator.
