Manufacturers must present the Section 87 license to ALDOR before manufacturer plates can be issued. Plates in this category are not assigned to a specific vehicle or manufactured home; therefore, the plates may be moved among vehicles and manufactured homes in the manufacturer’s inventory as long as they were manufactured by the registrant obtaining the license plates.
