SUBJECT: New IRP Assigned Renewal Month (MVD Memo 2023-006)
DATE: October 23, 2023
To ensure that International Registration Plan (IRP) registrations are evenly staggered throughout the
registration year, all NEW IRP accounts will be assigned the renewal month of September, and ad valorem taxes for these accounts should be collected through September 30 of each year.
El impuesto ad valorem debe cobrarse por cada vehículo registrado en el IRP hasta el final del mes de renovación asignado a la cuenta del IRP (consulte el memorando 2014-19).
The month of September will be the default assigned renewal month for new IRP accounts during the period November 1, 2023, thru October 31, 2024.
