ALDOR will encourage interns to apply for permanent positions with the Department, near or upon graduation from college.

As an intern, you will be assigned to an ALDOR employee mentor, who will work closely with you and provide one-on-one feedback during the internship.

Selected interns will be paid at the State Intern classification rates established by the Alabama State Personnel Department ($15.66/hour for seniors, $14.90/hour for juniors, $14.18/hour for sophomores).

Applicants must submit an official college transcript for each accredited postsecondary academic institution attended. Transcripts must be sent directly from the university registrar’s office, either by mail or electronically to the address listed in the “How to Apply” section. Photocopies or copies of transcripts from the student will NOT be accepted.
