NOTICE
ATTENTION: ALL ALABAMA UNDERGROUND AND ABOVEGROUND STORAGE TANK TRUST FUND CHARGE TAXPAYERS
SUBJECT: STORAGE TANK TRUST FUND CHARGE RATE INCREASE
The Alabama Underground and Aboveground Storage Tank Trust Fund Management Board and the Alabama Environmental Management Commission are increasing the fee from $0.01 per gallon to $0.012 per gallon for each gallon of motor fuel first withdrawn from bulk in this state or delivered into this state. The effective date of the rate change is May 1, 2021. Accordingly, this increase in the fee shall be reflected on the May 2021 return which is due no later than June 21, 2021.
Alabama Underground and Aboveground Storage Tank Trust Fund Charge returns are required to be filed monthly via My Alabama Taxes (MAT) at www.myalabamataxes.alabama.gov.
