MONTGOMERY, Sept. 13, 2019 – The Motor Vehicle Division of the Alabama Department of Revenue is introducing two new features to its Motor Vehicle Title Registration and Insurance Portal (MVTRIP) – the Public Title Portal and the Records Request Portal.
“The Motor Vehicle Division embraces the latest in technology to streamline taxpayer services,” said Jay Starling, director of the Motor Vehicle Division. “These new portals will improve efficiency and offer a more convenient way for users to obtain the information they need.”
The Public Title Portal (https://title.mvtrip.alabama.gov/) enables users to check the status of title applications, update addresses for returned titles and apply for replacement titles.
The Records Request Portal (https://recordsrequest.mvtrip.alabama.gov) enables users to request certified title and/or registration records.
