District Local Analysts

In addition to the local tax liaisons, ALDOR maintains a staff of revenue tax accountants/auditors located at the various taxpayer service centers throughout the state who serve as local tax analysts for their respective districts.

In addition to their auditing duties, these examiners work closely with the local governments within their respective districts offering assistance by answering tax questions for taxpayers and city and county officials, providing hands-on training in the use of local tax distribution reports for city and county clerks and officials, as well as providing assistance with changes in tax laws and policies. These examiners are very familiar with their local area and can be valuable resources for local tax officials. The local tax analysts also provide information and training on various topics through presentations and briefings to county commissions and municipal council meetings, formal classroom instruction, as well as individual training for city and county officials and employees, accountants, attorneys and taxpayers.
