TO: License Plate Issuing Officials
SUBJECT: MLI System Update

The updated Mandatory Liability Insurance (MLI) system will be live on June 23, 2020. The system has been updated to address the new registration revocation and plate surrender process. The updates were also made to the public registrant response system. MLI Reinstatement Reports will now be available from the Discovery application which is located within MVTRIP under Related Applications. Only MLI senior users will have access to the reports. The MLI manual (available on the MVTRIP dashboard under the Mandatory Liability Insurance bar) has been updated to reflect the new system changes.
