MEMORANDUM
TO: Municipal License Officers, Alabama League of Municipalities
SUBJECT: State Boards and Agencies that Regulate Licensing of Businesses or Occupations
In accordance with Section 11-51-193, Code of Alabama 1975, the Department of Revenue is required to compose a list of all state boards and agencies that regulate licensing of businesses or occupations and provide the list to all municipal license officers.
This notice serves as a reminder that upon receipt of any additions or corrections from the boards or agencies, this information is posted on the Department’s web page at https://revenue.alabama.gov/business-license/business-licensing/municipal-business-license-information/. Please consult this web page prior to the beginning of your renewal period for each license year and periodically throughout the year for any changes. For your convenience, enclosed is a list of the boards and agencies that have provided the required information.
